What Koopanda is
Koopanda is a personal project for comparing supermarket prices, still in development. Today it has no users other than its owner.
Backups in Google Drive
Koopanda's backup tool ("Koopanda backup") connects to the owner's Google Drive only to store encrypted backups of its database. It can access only the files it created itself (the drive.file scope); it does not see, read or change any other file.
What happens to the data
The copy stored in Google Drive is encrypted before upload, and only the owner holds the encryption password. No data is sold, shared with anyone, or used for advertising.
Koopanda's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time in your Google Account, under third-party apps and services.
Later
Before the app opens to other users, this page will be updated, before any of their data is collected.
